Healthy Lifestyle Change & Wellness Literacy Education
Solutions to mitigate the Obesity Epidemic and related illness and disease
“One third of the Adult Population is Obese, and One out of six children is obese with related illness and disease." In many ways this obesity epidemic has occurred for lack of health and fitness literacy education and afterschool activity opportunities. We intend to coordinate wellness and healthy educational classes and recreational activities run by the YMCA. To help decrease adult and childhood obesity and related illness and disease in our communities.
